Christ In Youth - MOVE Today a group of LCC students and adult sponsors are headed to CIY MOVE!! Please cover these students and sponsors in prayer as they go to learn and worship together– and discover ways God will use them to impact the world!!

Modern society often views our world as unenchanted—void of any spiritual or transcendent qualities. This Sunday we begin a new sermon series entitled, “World of Wonder,” where we will look at the biblical perspective of God’s work in the world. We hope you will join us Sunday as we discuss our need for the wonder of God’s presence in our daily life and look at the spiritual disciplines of reading Scripture, praying, fasting, and seeking solitude in order to reengage with God’s glorious wonder and purpose.

In a couple weeks some of our high school students will be headed to CIY MOVE! We would love your help in covering these students in prayer as they experience God move in their hearts. If you feel led to pray for a student attending CIY, please stop by the lobby and pick up an envelope. Inside each envelope you will find helpful information about CIY MOVE and what students will be learning about, along with one student’s name to specifically cover in prayer. We appreciate your prayers as we see God work in all our students’ hearts!

This week we have a group of LCC students at Bond Christian Camp! They are having so much fun and cannot wait for swimming at the pool tonight! Please keep praying for them, that God will continue to work in them and help them to hear truth and speak to their hearts.

We would like to welcome Trey and Baylee Hardimon to the LCC family!! To help welcome them, we are collecting the following types of items for them: toilet paper, paper towels, paper plates, (some of their favorite snacks) Oreos, Doritos, Cosmic brownies, crackers, chips, granola bars, and popcorn. Please feel free to bring items over the next few weeks and place them in the tote at the Welcome Center. Thank you in advance for helping to welcome Trey and Baylee!

A familiarity with things about God can often cause us to have a casual stance with God. We hope to see you Sunday as we continue our sermon series Whitewashed Tombs. Services are at 9am and 10:30am!
